Decision statement

The submitted overall Gage R&R result is below a commonly used 10% guideline. On that numerical basis, the system may be acceptable for the stated preliminary review purpose, subject to the organization’s own criteria.

Important interpretation risk

The operator means show a directional pattern with a 0.020 mm span. The aggregate result alone does not explain whether this reflects technique, fixture interaction, part selection, or sampling noise.
